終戦記念日…人々が平和を求めたはずなのに、世界では争いを絶えることなく続いている…多くの人々が悲しみや苦しみを経験してしまったにもかかわらず、後世に悲劇が起きると思います。悲しみの連鎖は一生、断ち切る事ができなくなるかもしれません…… 　戦争の体験者は少なくなっていき、平和資料館の人形は撤去されてしまう危機になっていて、戦争の恐怖は時代の流れとともに薄れてしまっていると思います。

戦争を重ねるたびに人類は滅亡に向かっているのかもしれない…… 　多くの人を殺せる武器を作れば、相手はその武器を上回る武器を作り、そしてまた、強力な武器を作るといった連鎖が続く恐れがあると思ったからです。今の世の中に必要なのは話し合いをする事だと思います。一方武力は、悲劇をうみだす事しかできないと思っています。宗教の問題が争いの発端になっている事が多くあり話し合いで解決は困難な事だと思いますが、なさねばならないと思います。
