ゲームのシステム上、そのブランドで付きやすいとされるギアパワーでは"ない"ギアパワーでサブスロットが三つともうまっている状態のギアを俗に「偽ブランド」と呼んだりします。また、ブランド上付きにくいとされるギアパワーでサブスロットが三つうまっているものを特別に「逆ブランド」と呼んだりもするようです。
