    ここから原作者の高橋先生は基本的にキャラデザインのみの担当に。ダークファンタジーだった前作からうってかわって明るい学園物ストーリーが展開され、モンスターのデザインもかなりポップなものが増えました(中盤までは)。主人公のアダ名は「クラゲ」。

    作風が一気に変わったことで叩かれることも多かったですが、原作が終了して人気に陰りが出ていた遊戯王を再び押し上げた存在であることに間違いはないと思います。
