    僕の目からは、大粒の涙が流れていた。 そして君が『生きたい…』とかすれた声で呟いた。 その時僕はこの1年は…この1年だけは、最高の1年にしようと決めた。 次の日、僕はまた君の病室へと向かった。 そこには、いつもと変わらない君の笑顔があった。 僕はまた泣きそうになった。 一番辛いのは、君のほうなのに… 僕は精一杯の笑顔を君に向けた。 こんなに元気に見えるのに…… 君は1年後にはこの世界から居なくなるんだね。 涙が流れそうになるのをこらえながら、僕は君といつもどうり、どーでもいい話しをして帰った。
