    1ノット=1.852km　です 地球儀や地図を見ると、縦横に線が走っていますよね。縦線が「経度」、横線が「緯度」をそれぞれ表し、○○度(○には数字)で表記します。この「1度」がちょうど1.852kmなのです。 目印の無い海上では、基本的には海図(海の地図)を頼りに目的地へ向かいます。この時自分たちの速度や距離がイッパツで分かるように、この単位が決められました。
