【5/4・福岡戦 マッチレビュー】 ~横山、沼田のゴールで白星奪取。ダービーに弾みつける~ 中盤で起用された大山とマテウスはリーグ戦初先発。リーグ戦6試合ぶりに先発した沼田も、攻撃へ守備へよく走った。 15分、大山の左CKを河本がヘディング。ドンピシャで合わせて、GKが弾いたところを最終的に横山が押し込んで大宮が先制する。セットプレーからリードを得たことで余裕を持ったパスワークが可能になり、ボールを長く保持。福岡の攻撃回数を減少させた。 後半の立ち上がりには、反撃ムードの相手に大きな打撃を与える追加点が生まれた。

    48分、ムルジャが高い位置でボールを奪うと、クロスをあげると物凄いスピードで走り込んできた沼田が左足でランニングボレーシュートを豪快に突き刺した。このゴールは第10節・月刊ベストゴールにもノミネートされた。 福岡も猛反撃。 61分に、亀川がクロスを送ると、ウェリントンが競ったこぼれ球に反応した金森が右足ボレークロスバーを叩いてゴールラインを割った。 試合終盤は、ウェリントンとの競り合いで、菊地の額からの流血があったり、激しい攻防となった。 しかし、耐えきって1-2で勝利を物にした。 次節はホームでの2年ぶりのさいたまダービーだ。公式戦10戦無敗。 首位の浦和に臆する必要は全くない。
