    The black white contrast really does it for me. The guys straight-lined coat and hard features pronounce him a man of courage, determination and vision. And yet, the softer background and blurred shapes lend another aspect: that the man has compassion, and perhaps struggles with how the law of military service conflicts with his personal morals... I love this picture as it really tells a story :)
