変わる景色を走る列車　山ノ記憶編二千川駅から先を走る線、草野線です。ここは栗原線の延伸区間となっており、15系が使用されています。 13系は元々1両で運転が可能でしたが、15系は最低2両が必要です。そこで、1両での運転を可能にするため、新番台の設計をしました。この車両は郊外向けの1000番台です。愛称といいますか、一応職員や利用者には15系改と呼ばれています。
