藤森地区開発記　八東線駅紹介編！次は、小川町駅です。小川町駅の駅名の由来は、駅周辺に川が多く、駅の東側に小川集落という集落があるからです。また、小川町駅の西側は田畑が多く、住宅はほとんどありませんが、東側は川の向こう岸に住宅地(小川集落)があります。その集落の住民が駅を多く利用するため、小川町駅の利用客は加東駅の利用客よりも多いです。利用客は820人です。
