藤森地区開発記　さて、まずは瓜野線から紹介していきます。瓜野線は、節詩～瓜野間を結ぶローカル線で、2両編成の気動車が走っています。ダイヤは3時間間隔で、1日6往復運転されます。また、今回の新路線開業で初めて鉄道が川を渡りました。これで、川の西側と東側の都市が鉄道で結ばれました。瓜野線の終着駅、瓜野駅がある瓜野村は人口が減り続け、ついに先日村になる条件である『人口300人』を下回りました。この状態では瓜野村が存続の危機に陥ってしまうので、最優先でこの路線を建設しました。
