I'll start off with this trivia about how the Wii Fit U measures altitude. The type of altitude that the Fit Meter can measure is called relative altitude, which is actually different from nomal altitude that measure from sea level. The Fit Meter determines the place where a Wii U connected online is set as an altitude of 0 meters, and it calculates altitude differences based on the Wii U system location. The Fit Meter also measures altitude using atmospheric pressure, which means altitude measured by the Fit Meter can be slightly influenced by weather changes. If there is a sighificant drop in pressure, there may be about 164-foot difference in a day, even if you are staying in the same place for a while. Any atmospheric pressure sensors, including the Fit Meter, can be influenced by weather changes,so no worries: this done not mean that it's broken. However,if you don't sync the data on your Fit Meter with a Wii U system for several days, the calculations for altitude may be influenced by various factors. By syncing the data with a Wii U system, the origin point of altitude will be reset to 0 meters,so I suggest syncing your Fit Meter with your system at least once a day. That's all for today. I hope you continue enjoying your workouts Wii Fit U!
