敵の空爆をうけて味方の潜水艦の格納庫に行ってみると跡形もなく崩壊していた、周りには味方兵士の死体が横たわり絶望のドン底に陥った。しかし、別の格納庫にある艦載機は無事で、私はそれに急ぎ乗り込み、迎撃に向かった敵は高高度にいるため、失速がしやすいそれを注意して敵爆撃機へと向かったしかし護衛機に苦戦しやむを得ず戦闘空域を離脱した、しばらく海上をとんでいると味方潜水艦を発見し、すぐに着水、潜水艦に乗り組んだ、艦長の増田におきた事を報告し、すぐにもどった。すると思いもかけない光景だった、なんと敵が上陸していたのである。
