遠距離ヒットは普通に魚雷を当てた時と違い1.5倍のダメージを与えることができますが、命中数はどちらの場合も1発として扱われると思われるので、遠距離だと命中率が上がる　などということはないと思います。

しゅんさん«シングルプレイで検証したため、マルチでも同じことが言えると言い切れませんが、遠距離ヒットを当てた場合でも命中数は普通に当てた場合と同じく、1発でした。大変失礼ですが、しゅんさんは命中ポイント(遠距離ヒットだと命中ポイント×3で30pt)と混同しているのではないのでしょうか？
