溜め撃ちは極めて重要なものだと、今日改めて実感した。海面を全速力で逃走する敵に遠距離攻撃を加えるのは難しい、そこで活躍するのが溜め撃ちだ、相手が逃げる位置を予測して撃つのは変わらないが、あまり離れた位置に撃たなくても当たるのだ。それと、マスカーを使った奇襲にも役立つ、やはりベテランだと至近距離でも避けられる為、溜め撃ちで魚雷の速度を上げ、回避しにくくすることができる。
