I really cannot believe so many people want another SSE style story mode. Smash is a fighting game! Focus on the cool classic, adventure, unique targets/platforms and multiplayer gameplay! Melee=best.

    The story mode introduced a new unique atmosphere to each character. Its definetely here to stay sorry though

    I think it's the principle of the matter, and their reasoning, which is most annoying. Removing Story Mode is a step back. I wonder how many other steps back they will take with this installment.

    Come on, guys! Subspace Emisary was just a small fraction of the game, and one that seemed hurried and that delayed the game. The multiplayer was where the real fun was.

    Even then, Melee's Classic, Adventure and Break the Targets were all superior. They all had more replay value due to their shorter length.

    There will be a story but no cutscenes, however the reason for it stupid they can just ask for it to be put done and people don't have to look it up, Seeing footage wont effect sales or the excitment

    Melee's Adventure Mode was the best? Yeah, because everyone likes playing the same few levels over and over for a few trophies. And then there is the F-Zero level AKA Straight Line Zone...
