Holy Cow! I'm gonna be busy for a while. Why 80+ on hardest difficulty? Do the enemies get that much stronger? Or is there more to it?

i finished assassins creed 3 straight thru and this WAY bigger. i'm guessing 40-50 hours on easiest setting
