Anyone else feels that instead of complete copy characters they could just be alternate costumes? like for example, the daisy peach situation. red, blue, and green could be the poketrainers costumes.

    No, I mean why bother making them skins at all? A larger roster looks better than a smaller one, and sound effects also would need to be taken out and put back in for that specific skin.

    i see what you mean. it doesn't have to be all characters. just the extremely close. like mario and dr. mario. peach and daisy. sonic and knuckles 2D the only difference was knuckles gliding

    Like if there's going to be a clone, why not just give him the space on the roster? I doubt enlarging the character select screen and adding character art really takes up too much space.

    But yeah, I used to support that other argument, but then I'm thinking... 'If there's going to be like 2 or 3 clones, whats the point of that?'. But I see both sides.
