    so this is number 3... 1 and 2 aren't on Wii U, but if you can play them first than you should if you want more out of the story.

    If you got an Xbox or Playstation it would be well worth playing 1 and 2, but you also have the interactive comic that does a pretty good job!

    The intro comic does a good job going over the story of the first two. Plenty of people start with 3 and they enjoy the game alot.

    Yeah, but some of the scenes in ME 1 and 2 were awesome to see: ME 1's Sovereign encounter on Virmire and blowing it up at the end, and ME 2's intro and everything after the Omega Relay trip.
