    Just to pitch in, I dig corny effects. They can do anything with CGI, it's nice to see props and makeup 'n stuff. That's my 2 cents. And knowing what I'm seeing is 'real' makes it kinda freakier.

    for some good modern special effects check out Hatchet I watched the extras and they showed how they did this scene where they rip a ladies head in half with special effects and camera tricks, awesome

    Hatchet is a dope movie. I watched one movie where they'd timelapse a garbage bag over the camera to switch scenes, like a fade-to-black. Clever, I love clever stuff like that.

    Uh, Dead 9 or somethin', watched it the other night, 9 people locked in a room gotta figure out why they're there, 'n a dude comes in every 10 mins 'n kills one of 'em. AWFUL movie, kinda fun though.
