Why do people want Lucas for SSB4? If anything that spot belongs to Ninten, not Lucas.

Please...don't "make up" reasons against Lucas. Whether or not you think he's awesome is a total opinion. "Extra sympathy" counting or not is irrelevant.

The fact is that Lucas was already in SSB and Ninten was not. Lucas was already picked over Ninten in the past.

Cuteness is not relevant. Nor is similar appearance. But backstory counts, and extra sympathy goes with it.

About Lucas replacing Ness? That's a known thing; a fact. Besides, in Melee's time, Ness wouldn't have been established as a veteran yet. He would be returning for the first time.
