was on it's own 'layer'. I thinks that's the clearest explanation I can provide >_< I figured it out as I was playing around on the thing. Other than that it's just getting familiar with the tools!

I'm using that technique as well. Compared to "real" digital drawing it requires way more planning though, because you can't go back. btw you can also go into options to pin the colors without

paint.net is my preferred image editing software. I make videogames so I got it to make 2D images and textures for the games. I also used it to make transparent images for my games.

drawing on the computer freehand is really hard. I used to do the same thing as a kid, especially with Pokemon. Draw them all through the manuals xD But sketching on paper > computer drawing. Always.
