I think Nintendo's announcement of 2DS was smart because A) it's cheaper, B) People can't complain about 3D, and C) It is Kid friendly as it has no 3D and at a perfect price point for parents!

    whenever I let someone play my XL I show them how to use the 3D correctly and they ow my eyes! Then I roll my eyes and turn of the 3D. I'd say its good for casual gamers

    btw elloss, kids under 7 shouldn't play with 3D because of the developing eyes so this would be that handheld that would help parents get a cheaper model, thats kid friendly.

    it will sell. if you don't want to buy it, it doesn't apply to you, so don't worry about it. its going to sell and its going to be that alternative for people looking for one
