Did anyone notice this post was on the 12th anniversary of 9/11? I was gonna put a 9/11 and July 2015 update joke, but it would be REALLY offensive.

So you're taking this Activity Feed update away now? Think twice next time.

I'm not sure you get a lot of cogent, rational comments about the redesign Tom, but I just want to try to voice the thought that boggles many of your mature users' minds. If off-topic posts, and their effect on some folks' enjoyment in the communities afflicted, necessitated the 30 post/comment rule, why remove the post to the Activity Feed option? Don't these two new restrictions seem to be at...

odds with one another? Instead of having a venue to host idle chatter for friends, followers and acquaintances, you've given us no choice but to deceptively attach screen shots from games just to talk amongst ourselves about what we choose to. It's bewildering. I know the stated purpose of Miiverse is centered on gaming. You must be aware that it's pretty easy to use 30 comments helping others -

with their game questions, thirty more discussing a game intensely, all without even being that dedicated a user. Aside from those two changes, and the gripes of lesser known artists with the new popularity contest, it actually looks like a great redesign. Please consider alternative solutions to the problems you have in the WiiFit U community if you find these antisocial restrictions backfire.

I think fairly soon this update will crash and burn with how many people will leave. I hope so. Off topic posts ARE annoying, but they don't hurt anyone. This is absurd.

All the random off-topicness is still going strong, now in the Zelda community again. Seriously, you'll never be able to stem the flow of off-topic posts in a way other than forcing half the users to leave permanently. Now that the Activity Feed is gone, you've just directed ALL off-topic posts to the Zelda community. And between alt. accounts and sheer numbers, you can't stop it.

Miiverse Team, your goal with the latest update was to stop off-topic posting, and make Miiverse solely for gaming. However, this plan has failed. No more activity feed posts? Now people are dumping posts that would otherwise go in the activity feed across all of Miiverse, most notably in the Zelda community. 30 comment/post limit? Everyone is finding ways to get around it. The only thing...

...this update has done is added tedium to our normal Miiverse activities. Nothing has changed. There are ways to encourage gaming-related posts. Insulting us with this update is not one of them.

For the record, I do want to point out that the bulk of this update is pretty nice. I haven't tried out the play journal yet, but it, and the new discussions section, look pretty sweet. We don't mind the redesign; just the completely unnecessary (and ineffective) restrictions you have put on us concerning the post/comment limit and activity feed posts. It's one step forward, two steps back.

I'd write out my opinion on this, but thanks to the new update I can only comment a few times a day. I'd make a drawing but thanks to the update, unpopular/semi-popular artists won't be discovered. : )

hey tom thanks for ruining miiverse, destroying all rp's that happen on here, and making it so its hard to talk with the friends we've made in otherwords your update stinks -.-

Well done Nintendo, now posts and comments are gonna be a little more organized (still it depends on users to make good use of Miiverse) but I don´t think the limit is really necessary, I suggest you remove the limit on our own posts you know... it´s kinda silly to limit the original post creator on commenting on it, other than that I like what you have done.
