Hi, it's Kei Kawai at Google. (View all comments to see translations.) We went on an expedition to capture imagery of Yakushima Island in February this year with our Trekker. When the Trekker team arrived on the island, the weather was good, but heavy fog soon closed in as they got closer to the Jomon Cedar...and by the time they arrived at their lodge for the night, they were caught in the middle of a snowstorm. When they woke up the next morning, the landscape was covered with snow. These hard-earned images are now on Wii Street U, so be sure to take a look!
