i have to kill the placid duo guils does anyone know where they are?

You can find two of them in the Silent Mire, target and destroy the tentacle appeandage first.

And, four dougils each in Biahno lake's cave all day, and along one of the rivers near Noctilum's entrance in Primordia at night. You Just have to get them out of the water.

Not really. All of the dougils in Primordia drop them, so you just need to smash enough tentacles until you have enough.
