【羽島鉄道激戦区開発記♯186】羽急新規開業区間への旅客車両の輸送が完了。駅舎の建設も終了し、次のダイヤ改正での営業運転開始に向けて試運転などを行っていきます。今回の開業区間は羽急の小笠原側の本線とまだ繋がっておらず独立しているため距離が短く、中・遠距離利用者がいないため当面は各駅停車のみの運行となります。そのため、現在市川駅にある車庫に所属しているのは五両編成の各駅停車向け編成のみとなっています。営業運転開始となる次のダイヤ改正までは時間がありますが、現時点ではほとんどが建設途中の段階である沿線の開発が進むのを待つ意味もあるようです。
