Retrain the derp?

Once my dedede amiibo is trained, im making a small tourney for all my amiibo, and I considered retaining derpachu, my pikachu amiibo, is it worth retraining a pikachu amiibo since they endlessly spam thunder, i trained him once and for a few battles he rarely used it.. what do you all think? Should I retrain 'em?
