    Depends. If it's a New 3DS it already has the place where you tap your Amiibo. If it's a 2DS or normal 3DS you need to buy something. If you already have one of these, you can go to the store and buy some or buy one (in box) for $0-$20 online. Anything significantly above that price isn't the best deal. I hope this helps!
