Question

Need some tips for using stylus and touchscreen!

I have been getting into drawing in on normal paper but I have really struggled using the stylus and touchsreen. Drawing simple shapes such as circles,squares seems challenging. Anyone have any tips or techniques for the transition from paper.

    If you're having trouble with the screen, draw little squiggly lines or squiggly round stuff, anything goes, so just draw literally anything! Maybe try the lessons if you haven't yet?

    I don't have many tips...But I have one! For non-squiggly horizontal lines, try resting your hand or the upper screen while you draw. (that might not work with the 3ds though...nvm...) (that's like, the only tip I have... ._.)

    Move your arm when drawing large shapes, not your wrist. It gives you more control.

    try working on a smaller screen such as a regular nintendo 3DS. you're less likely to rest your hand on the screen and more on the system. use the zoom in for easier work at finer detail
