I Hate R.O.B.

R.O.B. used to be a character I felt got too much hate. Then I started fighting more of them online. And then I changed my mind. As you may know, I'm a Pac-Main, and R.O.B. is one of my worst matchups. His camp game is superior, his attacks have disjoints, and let's not stop there. Why not make him heavy as well? R.O.B. sucks the life out of you.

    The last match I had with R.O.B. went to time. Normally I'm OK with matches that drag on because I'm usually engaged. Not the case with R.O.B. I wondered if I could try using combos to make things easier, but by the time the match was done, I lost the energy and motivation.

    That's because you don't main PAC-MAN. It's camp vs. camp. I should also mention PAC can't KO consistently.

    I'd recommend picking up a secondary main. Villager could be a good one, because R.O.B cannot use Gyro while it's pocketed. Also his recovery is very gimpable, which is another weakness Villagers can exploit. If he tries to recover low you can use the Bowling Ball to punish pretty hard.

    Wow, that's pretty good. I always lose against Cloud. His moves are really strong. Mostly the side smash and the powered-up versions of moves. Actually I only think that I have battled against a few ROBs

    Yeah, R.O.B.s are pretty rare, but after fighting one, you'll like it that way. Sometimes I feel like spouting ''Cloud needs a nerf!'' but I think I'd like a PAC-MAN buff more.

    Well, I think R.O.B. is a creative character being that he's a toy from 30 years ago. My main actually prefers fighting him because he has such an easy time with him. That being said, I don't main Pac, so...what do I know.

    R.O.B. is combo meat. If you read well, you can easily do a dash, uair, to nair with Pac-Man and then bait into a side or down smash.

    @CptnSteven No. Zage (one of the world's top PAC-MAN players) has said that R.O.B. is a sucky matchup for PAC-MAN.
