    its when a group of non experienced players go into for fun and mostly just stand around and do nothing. and if a person starts fighting then the taunt party will usually gang up on that one person. its fun when you dont wanna play competitive but some people dont like them because they're not "playing the game right"

    A match where people just spam the crouch button and dont actually fight each other, and using all the taunts they can, and in a sudden death, everyone just waits for the bombs to kill them oh, and if a normal person comes into a taunt party and fight anyone in that room, then everyone targets that one person until he ether leaves or becomes one of them

    When in an online match, no one is actually fighting each other. Instead, they are just rapidly using their taunts (activated using the D-Pad on most controllers, or using a with a direction if using Wiimote sideways)

    @Hooligan WASTE, not waist They're full of people that should just go against CPU's or go in with friends mode if they don't want to play the game.

    As someone who took part in some taunt parties back in Brawl, I think the main appeal was finding other people and goofing off with each other despite being complete strangers and having no way to communicate.

    I normally troll taunt parties. I hit them once then they team up against me. Then I KO one of them to get one point then I run away the entire match while they try to ko me. Its rather fun trolling them at times until one of them gets to serious about a game. Then I win then leave with a smile on my face. To be honest (tbh) I don't see how standing around doing nothing online is fun. '-'

    I don't taunt or fight. I run away. If someone gets too close I true combo them to a KO. They tend to stay away after that.
