    atleast snake gained more respect than she did. besides, with the way she was made, she looks like some kind of cheap mod that some guy who wasn't prone to swearing decided to make, and compared to how she acted in her source material, her tagline is "don't #!@$ with a witch", when in her announcement trailer she says "don't mess with a witch".

    Zero Suit Samus has revealing outfits, Fox and Falco have guns, Ganondorf grabs people by their throats, Shulk runs around in his underwear and Samus kills monsters. Does Bayonetta seem so out of place now?

    @Josh Nicely said. i recall captain falcon having a gun. by his waist, but he seems to never really use it. like, at all. i recall one time did he ever use his gun, and that was like in the comic that came packed with the first F-ZERO game. but nintendo makes him not use it to (quote;) "keep the appeal for younger audiences". ...rriiiiiiiight... ...younger-audience appeal...

    Smash Bros doesn't have a "universe", you people are high. It seems like it is the minority of players who complain about the inclusion of Bayonetta, but that's how it always is, right? A minority of disgruntled individuals who try to ruin it for the rest of us. I voted for her. It was a difficult decision to make between her and Shantae, though.

    I just came here to say one thing: the way the ballot was set up was a horrible idea. I'll explain: you could vote for ANYONE that was realizable. Anyone! That means Bayonetta could have won because she got 2% of the votes and everyone else got 1% (hypothetically speaking) and because Nintendo never revealed the results, it's a mystery. It was guaranteed to make at least 3/4 of this fanbase upset.

    Yeah? That "universe" where characters from every imaginable other "universe" magically coexist, have their abilities dumbed down, or buffed to compensate for the abilities of the other characters? People who say Bayonetta doesn't fit in this "universe where everything goes" haven't the faintest idea what they're talking about.

    Laureck (Probaly misspelled) has a point, but remeber that some verisons of the games have had story modes, so there must be something going on. Also, anyone have ANY idea where Mr. Game and Watch comes from? Cuz i got nothing.
