I WATCHED REGGIE SAY POWER DOESN'T MATTER AGAIN. HE POINTS TO THE PS2 & PS1 AS PROOF, WELL THOSE CONSOLES WERENT WAY BEHIND. I HATE IT WHEN SOMEBODY TRIES TO SAY PS1 & 2 WERE UNDERPOWERED SO THEY WON, THEREFORE UNDERPOWERED CONSOLES WIN. NO, PS1 WASNT TOO FAR BEHIND N64. IT WASNT A GEN BEHIND. NEITHER WAS PS2. THE CONSOLES GRAPHICS WERE UP TO STANDARDS. THATS NOT THE SAME AS BEING UNDERPOWERED

    3rd party suport is something that is bought and bribed for... Sony pays!!! Also PS1 & PS2 are sloppy, they don't play games they play interactive movies.

    His statement was likely in response to the Scorpio as a means to keep peoples expectations in check its obvious they are not aiming for Scorpio levels with NX. Also lay off the caps

    @bit bowser no, ps1 & 2 had most platformers. in fact, you can say ps1 started 3d platformers. also lets not forget all the promises that n64 made. sm64 2 was huge back then. it never came, yet crash & spyro were getting a trilogy on ps1. on ps2, nintendo got outclassed. jak and daxter is the greatest 3d platformer ever. ratchet & clank are right behind it. smsunshine has badly aged.

    also, i hate when you nintendrones hate on "interactive movies". for me, those are better than most nintendo games if not all. you dont have to constantly wave a wiimote nor flip a gamepad to have fun. sometimes i want to relax and control a movie. i like how sony does it. now if you're talking about uncharted or the last of us...those are considered to be the greatest games ever made.

    PS1 started most platformers? You cant be serious. Super Mario 64 basically kickstarted the 3D platforming trend. If you are gonna be a Drony then you might as well get off Miiverse

    @ it bowser smsunshine does look better than ps2 games but remember GRAPHICS DONT MATTER. Most of the greatest games ever are ps2 games. From ICO to shadow of collusses, ps2 was way better than gamecube and that's a fact. And yes, it's platformers outdid nintendo's. Smsunshine wasn't better than ratchet and clank or jak and daxter.     @game actually no, crash was out before it. And crash was much better. I bet none of you can even beat crash 1, sm64 was easy to beat, it just didn't tell you where to go. It was great, so was banjo. But spyro outsold banjo, both cameout in the same year, no excuses. Also where was sm64 2 that was rumored all the time and never cameout. Crash 2 came out year after the first. So did spyro.

    @Gabe ps1 had more 3d platformers, n64 had collectathons. If anything, mario copied crash in later sequels. Who was the first character to run in both 3d & 2d simultaneously? Crash. Mario never went back to 2d sections until galaxy 2. So that shows which was more innovative. Sm64 was a great first 3d platformer, but spyro just knocked it out the park that next year and crash 1 was good enough

    Stating facts doesn't equal trolling. Even the dreamcast and saturn have more exclusives than the wii u. Nintendo consoles as we know it are dead unless nintendo gets with the times. That even goes for their handhelds.
