    He is high tier. He has the fastest run speed in the game (obviously) He has kill power Good recovery Can mix up and overwhelm opponents easily Has a decent chance in any match up Combo game And is really fun to play.

    In fact, all Sonic DOESN'T have is a reflector. He even has a decently reliable projectile in Spring Jump. Tech chasing is a breeze for him, comboing is a cakewalk, Spin Dash and Spin Charge are very reliable and have enough priority to get through most, recovery is good and can be mixed up, has plenty of ways to KO in moves like Up Air, Forward Smash and Back Air, and can edgeguard really well.
