I know I've been spam posting about TF2 but...

It'd be great if some other players could help me out with some questions I have.

  • Alright! What're your questions?

  • If I want to play a good Medic, do I pocket the Scout right before he charges into battle, or do I stick with the Soldier or Heavy?

  • Honestly, when I play Medic I stick around the Heavy because he's a good shield and a great asset once he's ubercharged. That's the way I'm most used to and everyone else I've known to play medic do that. I'd recommend sticking to that strategy. :0

  • depends what medigun you are using, quick-fix is alright, but chances are you'll lose him, everything else high dps classes, Arrayseven and my own experience(I'm an Engi main, but play medic when necessary) say Demos and Soldiers work best, Heavies could work, but he needs to be up close to deal the equivalent of those two, and in close quarters Pyros are your best bet

  • My friend told me to heal the Scout to 185 health then turn my attention to the Soldier or Heavy. Hm. Okay then, should I keep the stock Pistol as Scout or should I get a different pistol or a liquid like Crit-a-Cola?

  • depends, do you want get behind enemy lines and distract them? Bonk. deal damage? Crit-a-Cola. You have to rember everything is situational, so use what you think will help your team the most

  • Thanks. One last question: Assuming I have the stock Syringe Gun and the stock Bonesaw, as a Medic if I had to fight, do I get in close with the Syringe Gun then switch to the Bonesaw, or just stay away from melee?

  • I use the crossbow and haven't used the stock in, or any syringe in a long time, so for that I can't tell you, however you deal the same melee damage as every other class(except Scout and Spy) however you and really well placed lvl 3 sentries are at the top of the hit list, so I would just let your teammates do the damage, you do the healing

  • also if you have to fight try to backpedal and use the crossbow, damage inccrease over(don't the max distance though)
