    Well you can only use it offline in the "Smash" gameplay modes. If you are using a New 3DS then you have plenty of buttons to map plus the C-Stick. If you have another model then you won't have as much versatility.

    There's also been a lot of cases of circle pads breaking from Smash, so that's something you'll have to worry about.
