Need some help understanding.

So I was listening to music on YouTube and I came across a piece of music that made me cry at the end. My question is, why does some music make us happy and some make us cry? Hard question, I know.

    It was an 18 minute orchestration of a piece from the game Final Fantasy 6. The song is on youtube and is called "Dancing Mad Symphonic Arrange." The ending made me cry.
