Diamonds & Gold

Apparently Gold Pick-Axes break Diamond Ore blocks... I just have one question in response to that. WHYYYYEEEE?!? I thought IRON OR BETTER can let you have Diamond if you use it on Diamond Ore. Thanks to my Golden Pick-Axe, it ruined my moment of mining Diamond Ore legitimately for the first time! And that happened days ago! Can you guys please explain this magic? MERASMUS!!!

    Yes iron or better can get diamond. Gold is worse than stone but better than wood.

    gold tools have less durability than wood but they break blocks faster, other than that no difference between wood and gold.
