Competitive or not competitive?

Who is more funny on miiverse, the competitive people who think competitive is the only way to show your skill OR the non competitive who can play on any stage and win? For me the competitive people are the most fun to see, trying to take a GAME to a "more serious level" and they feel top level just because they win a tournament... lol

  • *Shrugs*...if someone places well in offline tournaments consistently then I personally believe that person has earned bragging rights. I do find it troubling if that person puts you down if you lose (or possibly even win) instead of being a good sport. Yes this game can be competitive but that isn't an excuse to treat someone negatively. We're all a part of the same community after all.

  • FINALLY! Someone who sees smash as it should be seen other than me! It's a videogame people! The late president of Nintendo Satoru Iwata said this: "Videogames are meant to be one thing: fun. Fun for everyone."

  • A lot of people play Smash casually. There isn't anything wrong with that. I just prefer playing by general tournament rules.

  • I feel that's been Nintendo's mentality as whole since the SNES. Anyone can become a competitive Smasher if they're willing to put in the effort. I say the real Smashers are the ones that play with their favorites no matter how bad others say they are. For example, I play as DK, who's just north of being smack in the of the official tier list. I don't care. He's my main, and that's what matters.
