Question

Any ideas for teammates for DK players?

My thinking is teaming DK up with characters that play and fight differently from him. My own suggestions are Zelda and Lucina. They rack up the damage, and DK comes in with a smash or Giant Punch to finish the job while fighting others, too.

    Typically you'd want at least one character that's fast on your team. While DK is no slouch, I think someone like Fox or Shiek would help him greatly. Their speed can keep your opponents from overwhelming you, and allows DK room to breath. Especially since DK is a large target and has no projectiles, many teams will want to combo him to death or camp him out.

    A fast character like Fox, or Shiek would help since DK's so big he's essentialy a moving target let your friends get in some Uairs, specials and netural b's then come in with a charged smash, down b or neutral b to finish off the job.

    I call DK the combo heavyweight heavy-hitter because of his speed. If only I had Sheik as an amiibo, then she'd be option. She's the only Zelda amiibo I don't have. I don't have Fox either. The smash amiibo I do have are DK, Bowser, Zelda, Toon Link, Link, Diddy, ZS Samus, Ganondorf, Lucina, and Peach.
