    When you get a QR code you take a picture of it with a different device then find the QR code scanner in the town hall and scan the QR code in the picture.

    there is i had to do it a different way and it worked so cambell this is the way i did it get a phone or ipad go to camera app take picture of QR CODE and get nintendo 3ds go to tomodachi life town hall and scan the pictures of QR CODES phone or ipad only that's the way i did it and it worked
