Characters that must go

I have 3 certain characters that i can think of that i want out, not because i hate them, but because they just seem like a waste of space and unoriginal, what characters do you think need to go?

    While I don't like seeing characters removed, having Marth, Roy, and Lucina seems redundant when almost all of their moves are identical. Either remove Roy (whose game doesn't have the popularity to justify his return), or change Lucina to make her less of an exact Marth clone, and I'd be good.

    Why do you want to ditch Mega Man?! Like, seriously?!? I don't want to cut any characters, because it always hurts when someone gets booted. Just declone Lucina (and Dark Pit, especially Dark Pit) and everything is fine.

    Get rid of Pit The Flying Tragedy. Everyone likes Dark Pit better cause he isn't a wimpy little kid who acts all big and tough. Doctor Mario can also go. Mario is top tier and Dr. Mario is a clone with terrible recovery for some extra damage that isn't even worth it.

    Roy isn't as much of a copy as he was in melee, he is much more refined and i hope they at least have him for DLC in the next game

    Care to elaborate why Falco? As for Lucy and DP, I'd prefer them tweaked from their templates, while Doc is more or less alright.

    I use Dark Pit and Falco so I want them to stay. As for Duck Hunt. He is an iconic character from the NES era. He is the same age as Mario and its about time he got some love from Nintendo and the fans.

    you do know making clones like takes less time and there's no set character slots meaning by adding character's like dr,mario dark pit and lucina isnt keeping anyone out. clones dont take slots but make the game seem more full. but i agree they can tweek lucinas moveset maybe give her a spear

    Bayonetta, but not because I have anything against her, and more because balancing her for casual play and competitive play, AND making her feel like Bayonetta, well, based on how it went this time, it seems to be an impossible task (she STILL isn't particularly good for casual play best as I can tell, for example, and making her fun in casual play would make her too weak for competitive play).

    Mr. Game&Watch is a kind of waste in my personal opinion, but I wouldn't want him gone because some people still probably think he's excellent and use him as their main. Y'know, like every character in Smash Bros.

    I'm all for adding in Hector and Lyn from FE Blazing Sword as playable characters, even at the cost of giving Lucina, Robin, and Corrin the axe (yes, there is a pun of sorts there).

    I think it might also be a good idea to cut down on the number of 3rd party characters, percentage-wise. About 10% of the roster sounds good to me and I believe Smash 4 went over that, but not by much really.

    I'd also like to see Ganondorf have a move set that isn't so similar to Captain Falcon's. It shouldn't be that bad to do, given the material form the LoZ series, and it's not like it's too late.
