Looking at some of the recent expansions for the Pokémon TCG, it seems to have suffered from even more power creep than the Pokémon video games. And, seeing how the video games have had a lot of power creep in their own right over the years, that's saying a lot. (Though perhaps I shouldn't be surprised; power creep affects pretty much all long-lasting trading card games at some point or another
