    that means that he died in the mega man 2 comics and wily remade him into break man (thats what he means by used for parts)

    @sora: It means that Dr. Light and Dr. Wily created him as the first robot master. But they lost him and used the design and parts from Protoman to create Rock and the other robot masters. That's why he's a prototype. His original name is Blues, Wily changed it to Breakman cuz he breaks things, and he change his name to Protoman (I think he did I don't quite remember).
