Question

farming or hunting (or..) in 'survival'

So when you start a new survival game, do you usually start by building a farm (fences, livestock, crops, etc.), digging (and pretty much living in) a mine, or exploring/hunting (maybe a series of temporary huts)? Or maybe something else? Just curious about peoples' strategies..

    what i would do is cut down a whole bunch of trees. then get all the wood tools then go mining for stone and coal then make stone tools and furnace then go mining for iron and make armor and tools get more wood then hunt cows,pigs,chickens then make a home then make sheers and sheer sheep make a bed

    then next day go exploring see if i can find temples or villages then if i find a village take their crops and go home and make a simple farm then rest of the game do what ever i want to do

    usually hunt passives gotta get wool for a bed anyway, and it'll be awhile before those seeds grow. however, if I find a village with a farm already in progress, I'll gladly take it over :p

    I would usually get wood, make a house, make stone tools, mine, then go hunting. i breed animals and live off them
