Whew, finally beat the northern sections the fastest I possibly go for. Will put the difficultly analysis for each stage in the comments.

  • N1 - Out of the Woods: ★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ You really can't expect much from the first stage of the entire game. Most of the enemies there are either easily bypassable or easily killed. In addition, getting the Blue Key is not as bad as it seems. The blue birds patten is easily exploited and sometimes, can make the room go by quicker.

  • Otherwise, there's nothing else in that stage that is interesting that I find of. Order for Keys: Red, Gray, Blue, Green Exit: Gray door/chest

  • N2 - The Peaceful Village: ★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ This stage is not bad at all. Collecting keys can be made easier with the stronger power-ups Wario has. The only real struggle is the mad dash at the end. It can be quite nerve-wracking with all the blocks in the way. But otherwise, it's pretty easy.

  • N3 - The Vast Plain: ★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ Now here's where the difficulty kicks in. Collecting keys is similar to how linear gameplay works. Start from the left, and end at the right. It makes key collecting much easier this way. Perhaps the biggest struggle of this course is to not get hit as well as retaining Invisible Wario throughout the collection of the Gray and Blue Key, especially with the zombies.

  • N5 - The Tidal Coast: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ This stage...I hate it. Probably the most difficult northern stage. It has PLENTY of troubles to go by with. Thankfully, it isn't too long. One thing to look out for is to not become Impact Wario in the beginning. Another thing to look out for is to make sure you grab the Gray Key and enter the room with the Green Key all in the same Spring Wario reaction.

  • What's worse is that the Gray door is the quickest way to end it, and it requires very quick reflexes with Flaming Wario. But it's that feeling when you FINALLY beat the stage and get out of there. Ughhh... Order: Blue, Gray, Green, Red. Exit: Gray door

  • N6 - Sea Turtle Rocks: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ Despite seeming difficult at first, you can really get used to where the blocks break and know how to navigate the maze. Some enemies/traps can also be easily manipulated by your speed. Golfing, albeit tedious, does not consume any time. While some parts can be difficult. Most of the difficulty comes from that one jump to the Blue Key.
