Question

what's my dreamcast system suppose to do? [scracthed disc help please]

i insert sonic shuffle but won't work and my system spins the disc sometimes and makes awlfully weird noises...as like its loading something? what does it mean??? feel free to say anything unrealated to my problem! because you might be experiencing these on your systems to!

    1.) Check to see if the disk is compatible with Dreamcast. 2.) Check for any obstructions in the CD tray. 3.) Check for abnormalities within the CD, such as scratches, warps, water residue, etc. 4.) Clean the CD with isopropyl alcohol. 5.) If all else fails, just buy a new Dreamcast.

    OK, this'll be the second time of dolled out this solution to someone on Miiverse, so here we go: The disk needs cleaned, andI have found several good ways to do so 1. Dish Soap and hot water 2. Penut Butter and then hit water (the oil helps fill in deep scratches) 3. Tooth Paste and Hot water 4. Banana Peel and Hot Water 5.Lastly, the one that worked for me, a baking soda/water paste, and water.

    With any of these methods, you take your desired material and put it on the disk. Next you rub it from the center if the disk to the outer edge. DO NOT RUB IN A CIRCLE AROUND THE DISK. Next, use hot water and a clean cloth to rinse it off and dry it.

    Also, I highly reccomend the baking soda paste methods. Just take some baking soda and add some water until it forms a paste. Then rub it on your disk, rinse, and dry. If that doesn't work, try the peanut butter.

    i was actually Playing sonic adventure 2 :D turns out that Dreamcast Games can get scratched very easily fun system! fun game! but doesn't last long to stop working :/ gotta say! Best store Evah! i actually found some rare SEGA Saturn games there but i don't owe a sega saturn because the sega saturn sonic games are on XBOX anyway for genesis!

    That same store also had the SEGA GAME GEAR i owe right now! and had a blue Visual memory unit! sweet :D imagine how rare it is to find a blue sega game gear! cuz i got one! They also had old nintendo system i originally wanted the 64 but since i got my wii u i got the most wanted N64 game i wanted! Super Mario 64! its awesome :D

    Oh, that's pretty cool! I can't use the drawing tool in Smash at all....I can draw IRL good enough, but the Smash drawing tool is hard to use.

    check out my profile picture! :D also i know about the second evolution :D yay! i just have to wait for an hour! so when i was waiting for my chao to reincarnate again my hero fly chao turned into a Hero Fly swim! :D i didn't noice in'til i saw it had the blue halo on chao island i was exchited because the Second evolutions are cool!
