ずっと思っていたのですがなぜDAWN#FERsは細部まで艦艇を再現できるのですか？

う～ん・・・アドバイスできるほどうまいわけでもないですが平べったいところ(艦橋の側面など)に適度に装飾をつけるといい感じになると思います。あとは軍事部の動画とかをひたすら見て建造技術を盗むとかですかねw
