Paper Mario, Dark Samus, Pichu, Steve, King Rool, Shovel Knight, etc are all bad choice for Smash 5.

Pick a better character. Wolf would be good. Issac would be better. Shantae has a chance.

    Issac...sure. Shantae...cool I guess. Wolf? Boring. I'm not a fan of King K Rool or Shovel Knight being in Smash but those are far better choices than Wolf.

    Wolf was actually a good character in Brawl. I pick my character with potential, not because I want them in or not.

    Shovel Knignts game is good and very hard. Plus he was highly requested and it would be easy to make a moveset from his weapons like the Propeller or Phase Locket.

    Isaac would be a terrible choice because nobody would use him. I know a lot of people want him but that doesn't matter. No one will use him because I say they won't. I can play, too.

    BCH, Issac has potential. K Rool and Palutena doesn't. Also if I look at tournament play, Glory play, and FFA play, how many Palutena players would you find in 10 matches each? 0-2 at the most. Also you can't say that to Issac considering he never joined any Smash games yet. I'm using calculations, not predictions.
