Love this game but its unbalanced/not competitive

There are 2 issuies with the game i find People are rewarded for spamming they need to damagescale it like the more you use it the less it dose 2.Counters it multiply and can do up to 50% or more damage and knockback = 1 hit ko make it just reflect the same damage dont need to multiply it

  • So in the end you say you feel it's unbalanced because you don't win as much as you win in melee..... ._________. ok

  • See, that right there just discredited everything you've said. Stale moves have been a mechanic since the beginning. Yes, even your precious Melee. Let me guess, you main Fox, bird Fox, Marth, wobbles, Captain Meme or better Zelda. And THAT'S balance? I suggest you do your own studying before you come onto a community designed for the game you wish to bash with incorrect evidence.

  • Projectiles themselves can be staled in damage. I hope you know that staling doesn't exist in training mode. Isn't it wierd how you call Smash 4 balance and call yourself a Melee player? Melee is extremely unbalance, Marth having a longer grab range then Yoshi like how??? Infinite grabs, wave dashing, L Cancelling, etc. Also Melee is depended on Fox, Falco, Marth, Sheik, IC, Falcon, and Peach.

  • Isn't it strange how you call smash 4 unbalance

  • It is unbalnced and whats worse is the whole community is cancer with older smash games people did not call you s.h.i.t after you beat them everytime i win people message me nasty stuff and finally to people who think this game is competitive is not its so funny how many people take this game serious. The devolper did not create it to be competitive

  • Yes, smash 4 isn't competitive. It's not like there are professional sm4shers like ZeRo, Nairo, and Ally out there whom people look up to because they're top notch. And it's not like mechanics like bidou, perfect pivoting, and etc. were discovered from a competitive standpoint in the first place. Nah, none of that matters.

  • Well I'm sorry you feel that way, then. I see you dropped your stale moves argument pretty quickly. If you came here to brag about how your game is so much better, then you're wasting your time. And I meant your Melee main. You know, that unbalanced jank piece of dirt from forever ago. You can main anyone is this game. Funny what the word "balance" means, right?

  • And I'm a Link main that knows how to use my projectiles, so don't talk to me about spamming. Because if projectile characters hinder you THAT badly, I highly doubt you're very competitive at all in the first place. Comparing this game's scene to the noobs you meet on FG is about as laughable as someone telling me that Jigglypuff needs a nerf. Simply put, git gud or get out.

  • I can see you are very uninformed. Staling happens ONLY when an attack, actually hits. Projectiles that can be carried like items, do not stale. All other projectiles do. Staling doesn't occur in training mode, nor does rage FYI.

  • This game is incredibly balanced as you can main almost any character and do well in tournaments. Sure it has its "best in the game" characters but then again...so does EVERY game. The power gap between the top tiers and bottom tiers isn't nearly as out of whack as Brawl or Melee. Don't blame me if I doubt your skill at this point.

  • And I understand that FG is horrible. Really, I do. Lag, toxic community, only FD stages. But that's only FG. The actual competitive scene is full of nice people, though you'll always have your bad apples.

  • Lastly this game IS competitive. It has a just as large, if not bigger, community than Melee. As there are usually more Smash 4 tourney entrants than Melee at big name tournies. This game has a load of advanced techs, most being character exclusive. And that matters, as it raises the skill ceiling without taking away from the "party game" style it can be played in. Melee is just faster.

  • You know it's funny how you're trying to lie and make the claim that you played melee competitively, yet you don't even know some basic mechanics that have been part of the smash series for years. But let's humor you a bit, who are some notable players in your state scene? What is your ranking in the state (make sure to prove it with actual evidence, like a link to the results)

  • **cuz listen kid, right now, with you both lacking any knowledge of basic mechanics that have appeared in all smash games, on top of your immature attitude, it's very hard for anyone to truly believe you now, or ever, were part of smash's competitive scene, especially when you try to make the bold claim tha "you won 98% " of the matches your played.

  • Keeta i never talked about basic mechanics because thats not what i was talking about. Was just stating some facts the roster is unbalanced which is true and counters need to be nerfed as they have huge reward and little draw back As a man once said "never augure with stupid people as they just drag you down to there level and beat me with experience"
